About Us

The Village Club of Lincolnshire (the Club) is a social club providing members with various sporting and recreational activities. Originally a "newcomers club", the Club has evolved over the years to include long-term and new residents.

The Club offers women's activities of special interest including tennis and bowling leagues, book clubs, art and crafts, bridge groups, gourmet groups, mom and kid(s) clubs and much more. New activities may be added if there is an interest. A monthly newsletter keeps members informed of club activities.

The Club is a wonderful way for residents to meet new friends, get involved in activities and learn more about the community in which we live.

Each season the Village Club plans unique events for members to participate in. In the past members have enjoyed Annual events like the Fall Women’s Golf Outing, Fall Luncheon and Holiday Shopping Fair and the Spring Luncheon.  In addition to these annual events several smaller venues are offered such as private cooking classes through Lincolnshire Gourmet and Chef Stacey, in store events at local retailers including Northbrook Court’s Lucky Brand Jeans Shop, Spa Night at Dolce Vita and make-up by Bobbi Brown at Neiman Marcus.  Be sure to check back for more information on the 2008-2009 events.

Philanthropy

Each year, the Village Club of Lincolnshire chooses a philanthropy to support. We conduct fundraisers throughout the year including our Fall and Spring luncheons, and all the proceeds go to support our selected cause.

This year, The Village Club will be raising money for the IFSA Burn Camp. As most of you know, the camp (run by the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance) provides children suffering severe burns the chance to run and play in an environment never available to them otherwise.
